Lesson 1: Studying Autobiography Key Stage 3: English

'Roald Dahl might help!'

The stories in autobiographies are enthralling, but what about the style?

This lesson looks at the craft of writing about real events and the ways in which very good writers can draw you into their world.

Pupils will need to explore works they might already be familiar with; re-reading and examining the way in which specific incidents are framed within a chapter.

Prepare to be detectives!
